The training although primarily aimed at the staff was also attended by some of the beneficiaries who were capable of gaining from the training.

Vetrimanai presently has 148 beneficiaries and they are affected by the increasing aerial bombardments some of which have fallen very close to their residence, cracking the walls.

The first aid training will, therefore, not only benefit them in case of emergencies but also will provide a degree of confidence in dealing with the trauma of awaiting for an emergency.
