Sewing training completed for women in Iranamanagar

Thirty five women from Iranaimanagar completed a sewing training course that was run by CWDR and funded by OXFAM. This training will enable the women to earn while at home caring for their children.

Iranaimanagar is a very backward area and the women who received the training are all from very poor circumstances.

A small ceremony was held on 30 November 2007 to mark the completion of the course and the women were given certificates. The items produced by the women during the training were on display for the public.
