During the early period of the latest peace process, many young women who had sort refuge with Maryillam prior to this period were able to rejoin their families. Forty six young women cared for at maryillam rejoined their families during this early part of the peace time.

The young women are encouraged to train in any vocational skill suitable to their educational achievement. Many have followed the skill training provided by the CWDR training institute
