Malarcholai women have developed an extensive horticulture section that provides the vegetable needs of the centre.

This is entirely maintained by the beneficiaries of Malarcholai. The plants they tend include manioc, tomatoes, beans, okra and chilllies. They have also planted many fruit trees.

Marlacholai benficiaries also maintain a poultry farm as well as milking cows that supplies their own needs.
