Niraimathy residents have been busy developing their garden around their new residence that was opened about a year ago. The garden gives them a pleasant past time and a satisfaction of being productive.

Many of the Niraimathy residents were unable to do their basic chores when they arrived. Now, all of them can take care of their personal cleanliness. Some have developed to take on responsibilities of keeping their home and the surroundings clean and beautiful.

They are provided weekly counseling to raise their morale. In addition they play, watch films, and maintain their garden. However, the most favourite past time for many of them is cooking.
