Five people die in a Sri Lanka military claymore attack on a medical vehicle
Five people were killed in a claymore attack on a medical vehicle by the Sri Lankan Deep Penetration Unit in Mankulam on 10 July around 10.00am. The vehicle belongs to the Tamileelam Health Services and a team of medical unit comprising LTTE members and civilians in the vehicle were on their way to a civil clinical service.
Among the dead is a 35 year old medical doctor and a father of two young children. Two more of those killed were also medical satff.
